
Franck Mars, CNRS, LS2N
Franck Mars is a CNRS Research Director and the head of the PACCE team at LS2N (Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes). His research aims at understanding human behaviour and cognition to design effective technological systems. His interdisciplinary approach bridges experimental psychology, neuroscience, cognitive ergonomics, and engineering sciences. Franck Mars’s work encompasses the visual control of behaviour (including gaze analysis), human modelling, human state monitoring, and human-machine cooperation. His research is conducted through both academic collaborations and long-standing industrial partnerships, spanning sectors such as transportation, manufacturing, service, urban design, medicine and defence. Franck Mars has been a member of HFES-Europe for many years and locally organized their conference in 2019.
