Gender confusion
The symbols for these ladies and gents toilets are rather confusing. Not just for ourselves, but during an hour or so that we were working in the vicinity we saw multiple people being puzzled – or worse, entering the wrong toilet without hesitation. Is this bad design or a novel way to offer gender-neutral toilets?
The cause of the confusion is the addition of the vents in the door that mask much of the gender symbol. How it is supposed to be is shown in the second set of pictures. Small additional signs next to the door are too small to be noticed. Maybe they can get the vents painted so that the symbols are accurate again?
