Pull up to get down

This is a pull down tray table in a train, not only does this tray table need two steps to be pulled down, the steps are so counter-intuitive that instructions are needed.

The picture shows a pull down tray together with the instructions needed to operate the tray. The first step requires that you pull the tray up to get it out of its locking mechanism. Then you can flip the tray down. However, pulling a tray up is not exactly intuitive and unless you do this first, you won´t see the instructions hidden behind the tray table.
