Brian Hilburn is a Human Factors psychologist. He is Principal Consultant at the Center for Human Performance Research (Netherlands / USA), and Vice President of R&D at Engineering and Information Technology LLC (USA). He has worked for approximately 30 years in aviation psychology. In 1996, he received his Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology, from the Catholic University of America. He has held several adjunct professorship positions, and is actively engaged in research in the areas of automation design, cognitive neuro-ergonomics, and air traffic management. He is also an aircraft owner and active instrument-rated pilot (commercial license anticipated summer 2020).
