Anja Naumann (DLR)
Anja Naumann received her Ph.D. in Engineering Psychology from TU Chemnitz in 2004. Since then, she has been working in the field of application of general psychology on human-technology interaction, from 2005 on at TU Berlin and from 2006 at the Telekom Innovation Labs. In 2012, she joined the Institute of Transportation Systems at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Her research focus is on Rail Human Factors, mainly investigating and designing future workplaces and human machine interfaces in and for the railway system. The current main topic here is increasing digitalisation and automation, which is resulting in a change in activities and job profiles, with a strong shift towards supervision of technical systems and remote control activities. New human-machine collaboration and workplace concepts are being developed and evaluated for this purpose at the German Aerospace Center. Anja has been leading and co-leading several projects in this context. Anja has been a member of the HFES Europe Chapter since 2018.
