Toulouse is connected with all major cities across Europe. Amongst the airlines offering regular flights to Toulouse you find Airfrance, Lufthansa, Brussels Airline, KLM, Jet 4 you, Easyjet, Turkish Airlines, BMI, Flybe, Vueling, Alitalia, and others. Toulouse can also be reached by train, providing a fairly frequent train connection from Paris.

  1. By air

      Getting from (and to) the airport:

      • Taxi. Costs to city centre around 35 to 40 Euros
      • Bus (Navette).Recommended connection. Provides direct service to Toulouse Centre (Jean Jaures) with the final stop at the train station Matabiau (around 30 minutes depending on time of day). The bus stops outside the arrival halls and leaves every 20 minutes. The service is provided between 05:00h and 00:15h. A single ticket costs 5 Euros, return tickets for 8 Euros are only applicable within the same working day. Buy your ticket at the office or on the bus. A timetable and more information is here (in French). The ticket is valid for 90 minutes throughout the entire local bus-underground network including 3 transfers.     • By train

      You can also travel to Toulouse by TGV. The trip from Paris takes about 5:30h and arrives central at Toulouse Matabiau. Other connections are available to major French cities.

    • By car

      All major car rental companies can be found at the airport or in Toulouse centre. This option is only recommended for an extended stay in Toulouse and surroundings.

Travelling to the conference site

The conference takes place at Insitut Superieur de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace (ISAE) at the Campus ENSICA at the following address: 1, place Emile Blouin, Toulouse. see also our map.

From the city centre you can access the conference site by using Metro line A (red line), entering at the stops Esquirol, Capitol or Jean-Jaures. Take direction Balma-Gramont and get-off at Joliment. A few minutes walk will take you to the conference site. Ticket machines are available in the entrance. (More detailed information is here, choose > se deplacer > Metro&Tram). From other locations, Metro B (blue line) or busses take you to Jean-Jaures.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi for around 15 Euros from the central areas.

Hotels in Toulouse

For accommodation, it is recommended to stay in the central area around Place Wilson, Capitol, Jean-Jaures, Esquirol, Jean-d’Arc or within the distrance of a few metro stations (St.Cyprien, Compans Caffarelli). From Jean-Jaures, it takes 3 underground stops to reach the Conference site (around 20 minutes). Please check www.toulouse-tourisme.com to find an accommodation suiting your wishes.
