This is the light switch from my office. It´s a lovely eco-friendly switch and turns off automatically if there is no need for it to be on. However, how do you think you manually turn it on and off?

Is it reasonable today for a light switch to require an instruction manual (even if it is a two word one)?

However there is also an example of good design just below it. That is the control for the shades on the window, it is quite obvious to guess what button makes them go up, down, and stop. And it also shows it is operating.
